Yagana Samim
Graduate Student
Yagana Samim is a PhD student at the University of Toronto whose sociological research interests include culture and cognition, mental health, and the life-course perspective. She enjoys working with both qualitative and quantitative methods and hopes to conduct research on the effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on adult health, using a mixed methods approach. Yagana is currently part of MAC lab, working with Andrew Miles and Salwa Khan on a series of projects related to morality and cognition. Currently, this team is working on a project regarding the cognitive processes involved in producing moral behavior.
