Laura Upenieks
MAC Lab Alumnus
Laura Upenieks is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Baylor University. Laura's research interests lie in health inequalities over the life course, aging and health, and the sociology of religion and morality. Her works seeks to integrate life course models of health and social network analysis to better understand the relationship between religion and health. She is part of a long-term collaborative project with Andrew Miles that aims to understand the relationship between moral behavior, moral self-processes, and emotions. Laura's recent research is published in Social Problems, Social Science Research, Research on Aging, Social Psychology Quarterly, and Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion.
